Phoebe Willis is an Australian artist based in the Northern Rivers, NSW, currently working on the traditional land of the Bundjalung nation. Willis is known for her bold imagery and intricate storytelling. By weaving together visual elements, she crafts new narratives that emphasise detail and harmony through carefully chosen colour palettes. Her work evolves into abstracted paintings, inviting viewers to engage with the fluidity of both the weaving process and the narratives she develops. This dynamic interplay of colour and form enriches the stories embedded in her art, encouraging exploration and interpretation.
Anouk Colantoni’s latest collaboration with Romy is a celebration of contrast—where light meets shadow, sensuality meets strength, and bold femininity finds its expression in artful prints. Inspired by deep winter florals, opulent 70s chinoiserie, and the celestial beauty of Tasmania’s night skies, Anouk’s work brings a poetic rhythm to Romy’s Celestial collection.
The collection moves between two worlds—one rich with dark florals, lacquered reds, and a hint of gothic romance, the other soft and ethereal, floating in celestial sorbet hues and delicate hummingbird motifs. Imperfection is embraced, layers of colour are intuitively placed, and every piece tells a story of movement, seduction, and self-expression.
A longtime friend of Romy, Anouk’s signature lips motif also makes an appearance—an emblem of playfulness, power, and the art of living a luscious life. “They’re a secret love note, a symbol of seduction in the everyday,” she shares. It’s these details that make her work so effortless yet undeniably bold—mirroring the Romy woman in all her forms.
Jake Pedro is the artist behind Romy’s Resort 25 collection, Vibescent.
Jake’s art brings a bold, expressive energy, blending vibrant colours and rich textures. His works, inspired by the wild spirit of the rodeo, serve as a metaphor for life’s unpredictable ride. With Vibescent, Pedro channels the nostalgic essence of the 1970s, reimagined through his dynamic style.

Loralee Jade is a Tasmanian artist whose paintings delve into the realm of expression beyond the constraints of language.
Her artistic journey is a delicate, intuitive exploration that taps into the wellspring of memory and personal encounters. Through her craft, Jade constructs a captivating visual domain that teeters on the precipice of figuration, yet gracefully morphs into the realm of abstraction.

Shelley Bickerstaff is a local Tasmanian based contemporary artist. Freedom plays a major role in her art, allowing her artistic expressions to unfold without the burden of expectations or pressures, often sketching and designing in the moment.
The concept for the captivating Hip Hills print stemmed from a mindset of being ‘connected to body, grounded by nature’, considering the evocations and resonances of the female form, matching an energy that allows us to be in an unconscious state of flow.
Initially conceived as sketches within Shelley's collection titled
'Bodyscape,' the original ‘Hip Hills’ illustration has seamlessly transformed into a unique printed fabrication that now adorns Romy’s iconic signature pant and shirting set for Resort ’24.

Anouk Colantoni is a New York based Tasmanian artist exploring and colourfully questioning the grey areas of human nature: imperfections, vulnerabilities, and contradictions. Through paint and pen, she seeks meaning in mundane into moments of magnificence with written word, pen, and watercolour.
The concept of the Salamanca print was born through a mutual background in the fashion world, an appreciation for art, and a huge love for Tasmania between our Founder, Emma Petterwood and Anouk, inspired by the quaint town of Salamanca in Hobart, Tasmania.
The original Salamanca Print adorned Romy’s very first Resort ’22 Collection and was re-imagined for Spring ’23 with the Salamanca 2.0 Print.
“The motifs found on the print evoke the world of the Romy woman. The print can find a woman in her element, dancing across the fabric in a flaming Scarlett Wattle-flower inspired dress, striding down Salamanca Place layered in her classic trench, lounging on her chair at home reading, packing her bags for travel and relaxing outside on her towel with a beach bag.” – Anouk Colantoni
